View from the 15th floor of the condo we rented in Malaga, Spain. The complex was just finished in April of 2024 and it is ultra modern with amazing fiber optic internet
Modern high-rise building among palm trees, Malaga, Spain
Exterior view of our condo complex. We are on the 15th floor. It is one of the tallest buildings in Malaga at 30 floors. Very handy for finding our way home from the vast Old Town area with its winding curvy streets.  It has a gym, rooftop, pool and jacuzzi.
Malaga silhouette sign, Spain
Ruth’s shadow doing a good lowercase “l” imitation. I must say my girl never disappoints me when I ask her to do silly poses and I love her even more for it.

Central Market where small vendors sell every kind of vegetable, fruit, nut, fish, red meat and even wine. Other vendors will cook what you just bought and serve it to you at tables out on the street in from of the market.

Colorful spice market stall, Spain
The cocaine here is quite colorful. I went with the Red/Orange.

I really do not give enough credit to Ruth regarding her creative abilities, or any of her abilities for that matter. I have taken a thousand pictures of her and none of them are this good. Of course she had a stunning model, totally relaxed in a foreign environment to work with,.
Street art mural with shark, Malaga, Spain
Lots of Graffiti like most of Europe or L.A. You get used to it and some of it is quite interesting. I liked this one.
Museo Picasso Malaga sign, Spain
So we went to the Picasso Museum here as well. Seems like every country in Europe claims to own Picasso. Credit where credit is due he was born in Malaga.

Decorated ceramic sculpture, Picasso Museum, Malaga, Spain
I don’t know what to call this one. But I used to only love his paintings, but now I think his sculptures are equally amazing.

Jamon cured ham market stall, Malaga, Spain
Let’s talk Ham. You can get steak, fish and chicken but Jamon de Iberia is king. This is a picture of the Jamon available at a shop the size of a 7/11 in the U.S. A larger supermarket typically stocks 80 or more 100+ lb such items. The hams are aged 24-27 months and Spaniard’s are presumably required by law to have at least one on hand in their household.
Ham Butcher Made with Clipchamp - Espana
The onsite butcher will slice your Iberian Jamon into thin shavings, almost like pepperoni strips. It is a bit salty but addictive.

Market purchaser multitasking. Probably already has a Jamon at home.
Modern skyscraper against blue sky, Malaga, Spain
Ruthie preparing to free-climb to the top of our building. She made it but unfortunately the battery died on my camera during her ascent, so she will have to do it again next week.

Can you find Ruth? She thought this was a Rubik’s Cube and tried to rotate the bottom floor but was immediately stopped by security.

Secret Squirrel’s sidekick, Morocco Mole invited us over to Tangiers for tea. So we did a 3-day side trip since round trip tickets from Malaga to Tangiers were only $186 for premium seats. PICTURES TO BE POSTED ON OUR RETURN.

Posing with a street statue, Malaga, Spain

Our ancient Iberian ancestors sure knew how to get the party started.  Not really sure what Granda Pa there at the top is doing with Fido.  Maybe just helping him get over the waterfall?

Bronze relief sculpture fountain, Malaga, Spain

The brochure for our luxury condo indicated it came with gym access.  When we got there and asked them where the gym was they handed us a map.
